Why am I still rostered on?
There are times that staff will request a shift be moved for them and we can't find a combination that works.
This can be for a lot of reasons and is different from business to business. Some typical reasons are:
- Changing shifts requires additional rest days
- There's not anyone available with the right skills to swap shifts with
- The's not enough rest time to swap you onto another shift
- Your preferences are too specific to allow for a roster to be built.
- There's a clash with others requests.
CoRoster is smart and will look backwards and forwards over a range of dates and will even try to place you on a different shift pattern if it can find one to manage a single day's preference change.
Sometimes we just don't have enough options available to accommodate all requests.
